About​

Chitra International Art Gallery is Uttarakhand’s first professional Art Gallery, located in DEHRADUN. Founded by artist – Arvind Gairola, in the year 2022. The gallery aims to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work, connect with art enthusiasts and collectors, and foster a culture of art appreciation in the local community. It features a diverse range of art forms, including paintings, sculptures,
installations, mixed media, and digital art.

Chitra International Art Gallery hosts several exhibitions and events throughout the year, showcasing the works of both emerging as well as established artists. The gallery also conducts workshops, talks, and interactive sessions to engage and educate art enthusiasts and aspiring artists. The gallery has a spacious and well-lit exhibition space for exhibition. The artworks on display are curated by the gallery’s team of experts, who ensure that each exhibition is a unique and immersive experience for the visitors. Overall, Chitra International Art Gallery is a vibrant and dynamic space that celebrates the diversity and richness of contemporary art and serves as a cultural hub for the local community.


ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

 Year 2024 : June appointed as a Jury for Art Competition at ONGC campus, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
 Year 2024 : Jan appointed as a Jury for Art Competition organized by HIMGIRI SOCIETY, Uttarakhand.
 Year 2024 : in Feb successfully organized a 10Days – Group Exhibition (15 Artist across India) at Chitra International Art Gallery in Dehradun,
Uttarakhand.
 Year 2023 : in April successfully organized a 10Days – Group Exhibition (25 Artist across India) at Chitra International Art Gallery in Dehradun,
Uttarakhand.
 Year 2023 : Opening of Art Gallery – Chitra International Art Gallery in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
 Year 2021 : Associated with KIAC (Kalanirvana International Art Center), Bhubaneswar, Odisha as State representative of Uttarkhand.
 Year 2020 : Have done an Art project for Govt. of Himanchal on their Flora & Fauna Theme.
 Year 2020 : Accomplished Art project for RVNL (Railway Vikas Nigam Limited) for beautification of their Rishikesh Project.
 Year 2019 : Have done an Art project for Govt. of Himanchal on their Culture Theme.
 Year 2019 : Have done an Art project for Govt. of Himanchal during Deepawali.
 Year 2019 : Accomplished Art project for Indian Railways for beautification of Railway stations in Punjab with “Nature” as theme.
 Year 2018 : Accomplished Art project for Northern Railways for beautification of Railway stations in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand with “Yoga &
Mediation” as theme.

Arvind Gairola

Artist & Founder

An accomplished artist and entrepreneur with a rich background in the travel and tourism industry, where he has worked for nearly two decades with leading companies like SOTC Travel, Kuoni Travel, and Thomas Cook Travel. In 2018, he decided to turn his lifelong passion for art into a full-time career. This led to the founding of Chitra International Art Gallery in Dehradun in 2022, a platform that supports local artists and connects them with art enthusiasts and buyers. Under his leadership, the gallery has already hosted successful exhibitions, contributing to the vibrant art community in the region.

Yogesh Gairola

Poet & Philosopher

He has very keen interest in the art & literature. His vision has shaped the Art Gallery to establish it as the first professional setup in Dehradun.
He is an environmentalist & currently employed as Technical Officer with the Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India. 

Bhawana Gairola

Educationalist

She is a Lecturer & has a vast experience in the field of school education, currently working with Education department of Uttarakhand State Govt. She is a great art lover & a core member of the Art Gallery.

Meenakshi Gairola

Art & Craft Expert

She is the key founder member & responsible for handling art & craft related matters. Her dynamic & creative ideas enhance the setup of Exhibitions organized by Art Gallery.
